The\u00a0<em>NAC<\/em> alphabet is a simplified script that is legible, fast, and attractive. Each stroke in the NAC Alphabet has been amalyzed to best promote clarity, speed, and ease of learning. The program focuses on practicing correct letterforms and connections to increase legibility and accelerate graphic maturity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New American Cursive 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Designed with the first grader in mind<\/li>\n<li>Unnecessary strokes are eliminated;\u00a0NAC alphabet has 26 fewer strokes than the top three most common cursive programs.<\/li>\n<li>Letter forms are simplified but retain the classic form for legibility.<\/li>\n<li>NAC natural right\u00a0slant is easier for beginners and left-handers. If the slant is too far right, it can be difficult for lefties. Writing absolutely vertically is tiring and can slow down the writing.<\/li>\n<li><em>NAC<\/em> program was created to be simple, clear, and effective. It focuses on accuracy and increasing legibility.<\/li>\n<li>A teaching guide is included.
