Students completing this course will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Explore the countries surrounding the Mediterranean Sea, including Greece and Italy<\/li>\n<li>Visit the Balkan Peninsula to explore Albania, North Macedonia, Serbia, and more<\/li>\n<li>Discover historic sites that include castles, monasteries, fortresses, windmills, and ancient ruins<\/li>\n<li>See how Christians like the Apostle Paul and others helped bring God\u2019s Word to the world<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We approach this journey from a biblical worldview that affirms the truth of God\u2019s Word. As part of the course, students will learn about each country\u2019s history, which in a few cases includes very brief details about their false gods, such as the Greek \u201cgods\u201d of Olympus.<\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s popular culture, these \u201cgods\u201d are often portrayed as heroes in movies, comic books, and more.
